"Birthday Cake" is a light and airy piece with a joyous color combination of pink, turquoise, red, green, orange, and yellow. This is such a happy piece. Liz created this piece in the spirit of children's tissue paper artwork. Each shape was originally hand-cut and then specially painted to look like colorful semi-transparent tissue paper. The overlays of color add dimensionality, pure beauty, and fun.
